When you
application calls for fluid power actuation our sales and
application engineers stand ready to assist you with the size
and selection of the rod or rod-less device that best suits your
application requirement.
Pneumatic Rod Style Cylinders
Pneumatic
rod style cylinders are ideal for applications where an air
supply is readily available and low to moderate force is
required. We offer a full range of cylinders that comply with
NFPA and ISO mounting standards along with low-cost
non-repairable round-line series. Cylinder bore sizes range from
½” up to 14” with strokes up to 20 feet.
Rod-Less Cylinders and Slides
When space
is at a premium or a payload must be supported, please consider
our rod-less cylinder and slide products. Rod-less actuators are
ideal for applications involving long travel distances with
limited space for mounting. The required space to mount a
rod-less actuator is roughly half of what is needed to mount a
rod style cylinder. Unlike rod style cylinders, rod-less
actuator designs are capable of supporting payloads of up to
2000 lbs. Cylinders can be configured with a multitude of
mounting and sensing options to minimize your integration costs.
Hydraulic Rod Style Cylinders
Hydraulic
cylinders are the best choice for applications requiring high
forces, stiffness, and good feed-rate control in the smallest
dimensional envelope possible. We offer a broad range of bore,
stroke and mounting styles enabling you to configure a cylinder
that closely matches your application requirement. If you are
also looking to add or upgrade your hydraulic supply system we
would also like to offer our assistance in the design and
fabrication of a hydraulic power unit that is properly
configured to satisfy your cylinder performance specifications.
Shock Absorbers and Vibration Isolation Components
As
companies strive to increase productivity by operating machinery
at higher speeds, often the results are increased noise, damage
to machinery/products, and excessive vibration. At the same time
machine, safety and reliability are decreased. Shock
absorbers provide controlled, predictable deceleration. These
products work by
converting kinetic energy to thermal energy. The result is
extended component life, quieter operation and potentially
higher cycle rates. Vibration isolators are used to isolate
sensitive equipment or processes from sources of vibration.
These devices are typically constructed of elastomeric or
braided wire rope materials.
